Since this is a Korean Tofu House and it's our first time visit, we opted for the namesake dish of course Soontofu (or sundubu, 순두부) refers to unpressed, extra-soft tofu with high water content, giving it a custard-like, silky texture. It is most famously served as Sundubu-jjigae (순두부찌개), a bubbling, spicy Korean stew. For this visit in December 2025, we ordered the Original Beef Soontofu, selected Standard spicy level. This was just perfectly right for us. You can also opt for Spicy or Crazy Hot. The Soontofu comes together with Hot Stone Rice and side dishes (seaweed, fermented squids, pickled cucumber and kimchi). The side dishes were refillable and service was pretty fast in topping up our favorite side dishes, the cucumber and kimchi. Even the rice in the hot stone was nice and remained moist and doesn't stick to the base Since we're quite hungry, we also ordered the Bibimbap Hot Stone (vegetables, rice, egg) and the Gojuchang sauce was served separately. It was alright but we would have liked more vegetables. The fried egg also just nice. It came piping hot so the rice ended up very crispy bottom. Personal preference would have also liked a bit more Gojuchang sauce. For refreshment, we ordered Corn Tea which came in a pot. It's really a lot! Surprised that there weren't more tea options such as Ginseng Tea or Ginger Tea which were usual at other Korean restaurants we've been to. As usual, the alcoholic drinks are overpriced in restaurants so we didn't get any Deep fried yellow fish was complimentary, we were delightfully suprised when the service staff served us. Thank you! At the cashier, there was also complimentary COYO yogurt drink (brand of dairy-free, plant-based coconut yogurt from Australia). It's a tad sweeter but we enjoyed it like a mini dessert The whole restaurant was crowded and attracted families and big groups as well. Not that suitable for lone diners unless you're really hungry! The front desk was efficient in handling the queue and moving people along and assigning seats as soon made available. The serving staff also worked as fast as they can considering it's always full non stop for several hours. The ambience also gives off family restaurant vibe. Overall satisfying meal and dining experience. We also used Grab Dine Out voucher for 10% discount (do read for terms conditions and expiry date).

great place for DuBuJjiGae! the tofu stew here is delicious and can choose spicy level. many variations to the tofu stew like beef, pork or seafood. combo sets here are super worth it and highly recommend the Galbi or Octopus on hotplate. side dishes here refillable and every set comes with a free fried fish which is so sweet. will definitely visit again.

Quite a spacious restaurant and the food is decent and if you go for the combos the portions will be smaller compared to the ala carte portions. Free flow side dishes but the portions are small so you will have to keep asking for it. The unagi is good but not the best, The intestine soontofu is good also. The seafood pancake is good as it is served pipping hot and good portions of seafood in it. Overall if you have cravings for some decent Korean food with a comfortable environment, SBCD is a good choice to consider.
